Birthdays! Who doesn't love a big celebration!

Birthdays are big in our family and I try to make sure each person receives a
card that is tailored to their interests!

My Stampin Up Team Upline, Jessie Holton has a fun Monthly Card Swap that I like to participate in also. This gives me opportunity to Share what I love and for me this is the whole point.

'LOVE WHAT YOU DO'
STAMP SET

I've used Blackberry Bliss and Soft Sea Foam as my highlight colours.
Oh Boy! These colours are so gorgeous! Stampin Up have done it again!

YOU WILL NEED:

Love what you Do Stamp Set
Soft Sea Foam Cardstock 21cm x 14.5cm. Scored @ 10.5cm + small pieces for thinlit leaves
White card stock is 10.5 x 6.5cm + small piece for thinlit flowers
Sentiment Piece- (White cardstock sponged with Soft Sea Foam) 8.5 x 6.5cm
Blackberry Bliss Cardstock- 3.5cm x 14.5cm
Fresh Fig Cardstock Small 5cm x 5cm Scrap for thinlit flowers
Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder (and Big shot)
Bouquet Bunch Framelit Dies
Polka Dot White Ribbon
Glue + Stapler + Dimensionals

I rolled the white card through the Big shot in the Pinewood Planks Embossing folder and chose the daisy-like flowers and leaves from Bouquet Bunch and rolled those through also.
I sponged...well ok I smeared the Soft Sea Foam ink pad over the extra white paper lol!
Cut the ribbon and I'm ready to go.

Quick Tip:
Always place before you paste!

Putting it together once all the elements are ready is quick and easy.
Glue down the Blackberry strip and  dimensional the white wood grain piece.
Staple the folded over ribbon to the upper left corner.
On the opposite corner, arrange the flowers and leaves and stick under.
You can put dimensionals under to pop it up for this layer, but I didn't.

A few extra layers and pretties and you have a lovely card!

Happy stamping and sharing!!!

Stampin Dreams Blog Hop - Love Theme

"Welcome to the monthly Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop.

This month's theme is:

Love theme

You are currently visiting Cassie Comfort from Australia.
I hope you enjoy my project!

Paper! I love all the beautiful, gorgeous and glitzy designs
and how they just make a card pop and bring a dull design to life!

Today I am sending this 'Thank you' to someone I love.

A soft-toned lovely little message of my love for them!

You will see here a gorgeous watercolor effect stamp.
(A sneaky peek from the new Sale-A-Brations catalogue.)
(Available now in Jan 2018) called Lots of Lavender.
Can I just say- Gorgeous!!

I've used a light-toned piece here with Linen Twine. I love this card!
Ive a mind to keep it, but that would spoil the fun.

A little photopolymer stamp was used from Feather Together dipped in Versamark then Memento Black Ink and clear embossed to make it pop! I love how it makes the words look like enamel and shine out of the card.

A simple, but elegant design to change someone's day.

I hope the projects you've seen here on my blog today have
inspired you & brightened your day.

October Card Focus

This Month, I have been working hard with a fundraiser for a local church supporting their family camp, where they encourage families and community to come together for support.

I wanted to get behind them, so we focused on the approaching Christmas season and have begun setting up interest and building up anticipation with focused marketing towards the event.

I may be new to Stampin Up!, but I am not new to the need for clear, consistent advertisement and marketing to gain interest in your product. I sincerely hope all the years of training and experience will pay off now that I am a proud Stay at Home Mum.

If you love what you do, share it, post it, live and breathe it!

Watch this Video Tutorial for the instructions!

June Card Focus

June card focus
~ LEMON LIME TWIST ~

This month I will be making cards on the Lemon Lime train! I love this colour and, to my surprise, it is my favourite out of all the New In Colours .

Today I will highlight this gorgeous card!

As a base for most of my cards, I like to use 21cm x14.5cm folded at 10.5cm cardstock.
The card just fits in standard envelopes and sits really nice.
I do other sizes at times, but this is my go to.
The second layer of color card or Designer Series Paper is generally a small step in from the cardstock at 10.25 x 14.25cm.

YOU WILL NEED

Lemon Lime Twist Stampin Up! cardstock 14.5 x 10.5cm

Lemon Lime Twist Stampin Up! Ink

Fresh Florals DSP cut to 10.25 x 14.25

Floral phrases bundle ( Die Cut)

White cardstock. 21 x 14.5 cm folded at 10.5cm

Ribbon and Embellishments of your choice

This card is Landscape position.
On the front, glue the DSP centred to the card.

With a die cutting machine, align your lemon lime cardstock so that it is 2mm from the edges and roll through. It is detailed, so a few run through's help to get it cut through. Also, if you have an oval stitched die cut for the sentiment run that through as well.
I like to have all the steps ready to go, so I'm not back to the cutter and I can store it back away for the safety of my little guys.
Isnt this stunning! So detailed and perfect!

So at this stage I have all my pieces ready to go.

Foam Dimensionals (not pictured)

The gluing part is easy! Lightly glue around the top, bottom, and outer edges of this gorgeous thang!
Keeping the middle unglued I think gives it a "wrap around" feel to it.

Now for the sentiment piece. I chose an oval paper cut out (also a die) but there are so many possibilities you could choose here. A simple round circle is beautiful too! To save money, I have used the Floral Phrases that I bought with the Floral Phrases Die Thinlits.
Fresh Fig Ink accents the lime so well!

For the ribbon, place the ribbon on a small piece of tape and you can make it as long or short as you like. The idea will be to see just a tad from the sides.
This gives the card some texture and balance.
Now that the ribbon is bunched together, take your oval sentiment and attach to the backside.

And from stage right are the amazing Foam Dimensionals! I love these little sticky things!
Simply put it is double sided sticky foam bits that help to add depth and dimension to your crafts! It literally makes things pop up making it look 3D!

Pop a few foam Dimensionals on the underside of the oval sentiment piece and mount on the card. Add some sparkle with Glitter Dots or your choice of glitzy, and Voila!, you have a beautiful card to send to a loved one!

Tried this same card in Fresh Fig and love it too!
